Draft International Sports Science Professional Standards – external consultation

Members of the International Confederation of Sport and Exercise Science Practice (ICSESP) Steering Group, which includes representation from CASES members Dr Andy Scott HonFCASES, Dr Paul Jones FCASES and Dr Matthew Wright MCASES, have developed the draft International Sports Science Professional Standards, which are now ready for external review.

Interested CASES members are asked to provide feedback on these draft standards. The feedback survey is available here until 26 September 2025.

Once the external feedback period closes, the Steering Committee will review the feedback received and, as appropriate, engage with the Working Group to consider any changes to the standards. It is anticipated that by the end of November the standards will be finalised and be ready to present to the ICSESP Board for approval, for whom Dr Andy Scott HonFCASES is the CASES’ nominated Director.
